BOILER INSTALLATION

Boiler breakdown regularly happens at the most inconvenient time. In Central London, it can be difficult and expensive to arrange emergency repairs or boiler replacement at short notice. If your gas boiler is more than 10 years old, it’s likely coming to the end of its life. Not only that, older boilers become increasingly inefficient and less environmentally friendly with the passage of time.

So, don’t wait for disaster to strike! Trying to prolong the life of an old boiler with numerous repairs is often far less cost-effective than installing a brand new, energy efficient boiler.

The Heatwave Construction Ltd., will install your new central heating boiler and register it with a 10 year warranty on parts and labour.

Types of Boilers we install

Combi Boilers

Combi boilers provide hot water on demand, providing an excellent choice for smaller properties with one bathroom and low water demand.

Heat Only (Regular) Boilers

Also known as ‘conventional or ‘regular’ boilers, heat-only boilers are a good choice for larger homes with more than one bathroom in use at a time. This high water demand calls for a cold water feed tank and a hot water storage tank (often installed in the loft).

Heat-only boilers connect to a water tank to provide hot water directly to your radiators. The boiler can be turned on or off, enabling you to heat and store water in the storage tank as and when you need it.

The most common heat-only boiler system requires a cold water feed and an expansion tank in the loft. The components of heat-only boilers, such as the circulation pump are externally housed from the boiler.

System Boilers

System boilers, sometimes known as ‘closed vent’ or ‘sealed system’ boilers are a good choice If you have a larger home with high water demand but poor water pressure. We would be more than happy to talk you through the advantages of a system boiler. These boilers are similar to conventional boilers. They do require a hot water cylinder but don’t need a cold water feed tank.

System components such as pumps and valves are built in, making a system boiler a great choice if you want a heat-only boiler but don’t want lots of external components.
